  • What is the best way to get a hold of someone in your shop?
    Due to the busy nature of our shop, we can’t always answer our phone. If you’d like to speak with someone, please either stop by or email us at Read on for common questions that we may be able to answer for you right now.
  • Do you accept walk-ins?
    Walk-ins are always welcome. However, there is a very good possibility that our staff will not be able accommodate you immediately. For your convenience, we have an easy-to-use kiosk at our shop where you can schedule an appointment immediately upon your arrival.
  • How do I book an appointment with you guys?
    It's easy! On this website, you'll find a "Book An Appointment" button at the top of every page. Press that and it will take you to our online booking system. Follow the prompts while filling in your information and you'll be good to go. You'll even get a confirmation email and text as soon as your appointment is booked.   • How do I cancel my appointment?
    Cancel your appointment by following the link in your confirmation email or text message that you received when you first booked your appointment. You must cancel your appointment six hous before the scheduled start time to avoid being charged a cancellation fee.
  • Will I be charged if I don’t show up for my appointment?
    Out of respect for our barbers and their valuable time, the credit card you used to reserve your booking with will be charged the full amount of the service you signed up to receive. You can cancel your appointment without penalty up to six hours before your scheduled appointment time. Follow the link that was provided via text or email to cancel your appointment.
  • I don’t see any appointments available online, do you have any openings?"
    Our online booking system is a real-time schedule that shows you the current availability of our barbers. If you don’t see an availability for your barber on any given day, that means that their schedule is booked and you’ll need to find another available time that works for you.
  • I heard I get a free beer with my haircut, is that true?"
    Sure is, as long as you’re over the age of 21 of course. Just ask and we’ll be happy to grab you a complimentary beverage that you can enjoy *during your service. *Sorry, no road sodas allowed. Please make sure to enjoy your adult beverage to extinction before you leave the shop.
  • What is your preferred method of payment at the Vancouver Barber Company?
    All of our barbers are independent contractors. That being said, *cash is the preferred method of payment throughout the shop. Some of our barbers may allow the processing of credit cards while others only accept cash payment. The "Our Barbers" page has a detailed list of barbers and their preferred method of payment. *We have an ATM onsite where cash is readily available.
